WHAT HAPPENED?
The 22-year-old midfielder made just one competitive appearance for the Red Devils, as a late substitute in a Champions League clash with Young Boys in December 2021. He picked up useful experience during a loan spell at Forest Green Rovers, before joining Reading in 2023.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
Savage lined up against Wrexham in the 2024-25 campaign, as the Red Dragons claimed a runners-up finish in League One and a historic third successive promotion. The Royals star registered seven goals and 13 assists through 51 appearances in all competitions.
